Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order, booking, installation, service and repair carried out by Blue Line Air Conditioning. By placing an order or confirming a booking with us, you agree to them.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. Who we are

Blue Line Air Conditioning ("Blue Line", "we", "us") supplies, delivers, installs, services and repairs air conditioning equipment across Gauteng, South Africa. You can reach us on +27 87 008 9107 or sales@bluelineair.co.za.

2. Orders and bookings

  • Submitting a booking or quote request on this website is a request, not a confirmed sale. Your order is only confirmed once a member of our team has contacted you and agreed the unit, price, date and address with you.
  • We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, where the delivery address falls outside our service area, or where a pricing or product error has occurred. If we cancel, you pay nothing.
  • Booking dates shown on the site are requested dates. We confirm the final date and arrival window with you by phone or WhatsApp.
  • You must be 18 years or older, and the person receiving the delivery or installation must be authorised to accept it on your behalf.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable.
  • Prices, promotions and stock availability can change without notice. The price we confirm with you at the time of booking is the price that applies to your order.
  • Professional installation is charged at R2,750 per indoor unit and covers a standard installation.
  • Any work beyond a standard installation — additional piping, trunking, electrical work, brackets, cranes, scaffolding or specialised access — is quoted on site before it is carried out. Additional piping and trunking is charged at R280 per metre.
  • Obvious pricing errors (for example a unit listed at a fraction of its true value) do not bind us. We will contact you with the correct price and you may cancel free of charge.

4. Payment

  • We do not take online card payments and we do not require an upfront deposit for standard orders.
  • Payment is due on arrival, in full, once the goods are delivered or the work is completed — by mobile card machine or instant EFT.
  • Goods remain the property of Blue Line Air Conditioning until payment has been received in full and cleared.
  • Where payment is not made on completion, we reserve the right to remove the equipment, suspend any warranty, and recover reasonable collection costs.
  • Special-order or non-stock items may require a deposit. We will tell you before you commit if this applies.

Full details are set out in our Payment & Collection Policy.

5. Delivery

  • We deliver across Gauteng. Delivery timelines shown on product pages are working-day estimates from the date your order is confirmed, not guarantees.
  • Someone aged 18 or older must be present at the delivery address to receive, inspect and pay for the goods.
  • Please inspect the unit on arrival. Visible transit damage must be reported to the driver before the delivery is accepted.
  • Failed deliveries caused by nobody being present, an incorrect address or no access may attract a re-delivery fee.

Full details are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

6. Installation

  • A standard installation includes up to 3 metres of piping, a wall bracket, drainage, vacuum testing, commissioning and a two-year workmanship guarantee.
  • You must provide safe access to the installation area, a suitable and compliant power supply, and permission from the property owner, body corporate or landlord where required.
  • We are not responsible for obtaining body corporate, estate or municipal approvals on your behalf.
  • Our teams take reasonable care when drilling and routing pipework, but we cannot be held liable for concealed pipes, wiring or structural elements that are not visible or disclosed to us beforehand.
  • Manufacturer warranties on air conditioning equipment are generally only valid where the unit has been installed and commissioned by an accredited installer. If you arrange your own installation, any resulting warranty rejection is not our responsibility.
  • If the site is not ready on the agreed date, or work cannot proceed for reasons outside our control, a call-out or re-scheduling fee may apply.

7. Warranties

  • Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty for that brand and model. Warranty claims are handled through the manufacturer's process, and we will assist you with lodging them.
  • Our workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of installation.
  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by power surges, lightning, incorrect electrical supply, misuse, neglect, lack of routine servicing, pests, flooding, storms, theft, vandalism, or work carried out by a third party.
  • Air conditioners require routine cleaning and servicing. Failure to service a unit may void warranty cover.

8. Cancellations, changes and returns

  • You may cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed date. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or a no-show on site, may attract a call-out fee.
  • Your rights to cancel, return or receive a refund are set out in our Return Policy and are in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

9. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of use, spoiled goods or business interruption.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including load shedding, extreme weather, supplier failures, strikes or road closures.

10. Your information

We collect only the information we need to quote, contact you, deliver goods and complete work — typically your name, phone number, email address and service address. We do not sell your information. We process it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). You may ask us to correct or delete your details at any time by emailing sales@bluelineair.co.za.

11. Website content

Product images, specifications and descriptions are provided by manufacturers and suppliers and are for guidance. Actual units, colours and finishes may differ slightly. All logos, photographs and content on this site remain the property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Complaints and governing law

If something goes wrong, contact us first on +27 87 008 9107 and we will work to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
