Payment & Collection Policy

We do not take money upfront. You pay once the unit is in front of you — or once the work is done — using a mobile card machine or instant EFT.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

No upfront deposit

  • No online card payment is taken on this website.
  • No deposit is required for standard in-stock orders, deliveries or installations.
  • Special-order, imported or non-stock items may require a deposit. If that applies to your order, we tell you before you commit and confirm the amount in writing.

How you pay

  • Mobile card machine — our team carries one and accepts most South African debit and credit cards on site.
  • Instant EFT — pay directly into our business account on the day; payment must reflect before our team leaves.
  • Cash is accepted only by prior arrangement.
  • Payment is due in full once delivery has been accepted or the installation, service or repair has been completed and handed over to you.

What you are paying for

  • The unit price shown on the product page at the time your order was confirmed.
  • Professional installation at R2,750 per indoor unit, where selected.
  • Any additional work agreed and quoted on site — for example extra piping and trunking at R280 per metre, additional electrical work, brackets or specialised access.
  • No additional work is carried out or charged without your approval on site first.

Invoices and receipts

  • You receive an invoice or receipt for every completed job. Ask the technician on site, or email us and we will send it through.
  • Keep your invoice — it is your proof of purchase for warranty and workmanship claims.

Ownership of goods

All goods remain the property of Blue Line Air Conditioning until payment has been received in full and has cleared into our account. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Non-payment and collection

  • If payment is not made on completion, we may remove the equipment installed or delivered, at our discretion.
  • Outstanding amounts may attract interest at the maximum rate permitted by the National Credit Act.
  • Any reasonable costs of recovering an outstanding amount, including collection and legal costs, may be recovered from you.
  • Warranties and our workmanship guarantee are suspended while an invoice remains unpaid.

Collecting from us

  • Collection of a unit can be arranged in advance by phone. Units are only released once payment has been made and cleared.
  • The person collecting must present a copy of the invoice and photo ID.
  • Units bought for self-collection and installed by a third party may not qualify for the manufacturer's warranty unless installed by an accredited installer.
